Coffee lovers go as far as defining Miami as the home of ‘Cuban Coffee.’ Cuban Coffee with an intense taste resembles the fierce vibe of Miami. It’s worth noting that most coffee roasters get coffee beans from Latin and Central America.

We took the task of visiting some of the local coffee shops where we could find specialty coffee drinks, and this is the final result:

1. Panther Coffee

If you happen to be in Miami, this is your spot. It’s the most notable coffee spot in Miami, the most popular one. Roasting of single-origin and mixed origin coffee beans in small batches speaks volumes for the variety they bring forth. During our visit, we had the chance to try coffee from Guatemala (Finca El Limonar) and Nicaragua (Finca La Amistad). They also have available Brazilian and Ethiopian beans, from single estates.

2. Vice City Bean

An artistic and aesthetic space for coffee lovers, Vice City Bean offers the very best of the coffees. The variety of coffee they offer speaks volumes about their passion for the essence of coffee. You would find locals recommending this space to you every now and then and the reason would be their dedication to brewing profound varieties of coffees. And, the fact that they embrace local business would be a bonus for you as you’ll get to notice a lot of local essence in the space – a deep connection to the local Miamian community. Often described as a ‘little specialty coffee shop’, the taste brewed here will occupy a big chunk of your heart. A community coffee shop, as they visioned it, so it is.

An independent coffee shop, crafted with the vibe of a coffee bar, All Day makes you drool for coffee like no other place. Be it perfectly chilled nitro brew, rosemary limeade, and keenly brewed espresso drinks, All Day has it all covered for your coffee-loving soul. The flexibility and versatility of their coffee menu offer you the gift of blending your coffee in all the moody ways you like. Play with that whipped cream or milk foams, you’re more than welcome to indulge in choosing at ease.

Are you among those who are strongly opinionated and fiercely passionate about your cup of coffee? Well, Pasión del Cielo Coffee has got your back. These allow coffee lovers to choose the beans and country they would want to dive into the coffee flavors of. Among their options, they have beans from Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ethiopia, Hawaii, Kenya, Jamaica, Mexico, and Sumatra.

They only use single origin, arabica beans (grown 3900-4600 ft. above sea level).

If I may ask, how about breathing in the scent of freshly brewed beans? At Alaska Coffee Roasting Co, you can witness how your perfect cup of coffee is made as they present you the gift of that process while making sure it’s natural, yet authentic.

A unique cup of coffee brews unique moments for you. Among their selections, they have single-origin form Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ethiopia, Honduras, Kenya, Nicaragua, and Yemen.

During my visit, I ordered a coffee from Nicaragua brewed in the French Press.

6. Suite Habana Cafe

A true Cuban coffee shop, it’s the end to your Cuban coffee explorations. Named after a Cuban documentary, it’s everything Cuban. Not only that, but it also offers you the surreal joy of cherishing coffee with the welcoming aura in place and the comfort curated for you with love, this place is the answer for your what-ifs of Cuban coffee.

7. Brewing Buddha Cafe & Arthouse

Seeking a magical touch of creativity in your cup of coffee? Well, at Brewing Buddha Cafe & Arthouse, let loose your creative juices. They make the most creative coffee you can ever paint in your imagination. Be it lemonade cold brew, plantain lattes, maple bacon cappuccinos, you’ll fall in love with this space for the rush and passion for creativity and essence of coffee they craft with dedication. A hearty coffee brewed traditionally sounds familiar to you, isn’t it? Brazilian, Colombian, and Ecuadorian coffee beans – a rich blend of these and so many other flavors are what Bebito’s hold space for. And, the chill in the coffee is a treat you may look forward to savoring over again and again. Bebito’s specializes in cold lattes, making you yearn for more.

Efforts earn hearts and regards. It’s especially true for Cafe Vidita earning a huge spot for coffee. A heart-warming story of family-owned coffee business, Cafe Vidita holds coffee as dear as life. As old as the 1930s, the history of Cafe Vidita dates back to times of uncertainty and challenges. Yet, the quality they have been serving uncompromisingly has made their thriving effortless. They offer a wide range of coffee including:

A female-owned coffee shop, you won’t want to miss out on this coffee space. In an attempt to achieve supreme satisfaction, this coffee shop is designed to serve the finest coffee ever. Procuring beans from Kenya, Honduras, Burundi, Guatemala, and Colombia, the multiple origin coffee here tastes like a divine potion. Hands down a coffee experience worth adding to your coffee bucket list.
