What makes single origin coffee special?

Coffee that's graded 80 or higher based on the Specialty Coffee Association’s scale will be considered specialty coffee. Specialty coffee flavors include fruity, citrus, caramel, and floral notes. Some farmers and producers are very careful with their product and its traceability, allowing their beans make a coffee bag of their product exclusively.
